Toni at the Arch

Here's a great photo from our drive from Fort Collins to Cleveland! This is Toni at the Gateway Arch in St. Louis. We stopped there and at the Greyhound Hall of Fame in Abilene along the 1500 mile drive.

We Are Officially Midwesterners!!

Here is a photo of Bryce in his new home in Shaker Heights, Ohio. As you can see from the boxes, we are still unpacking! We moved from our big house in Colorado to renting one half of a two family house, so space is definitely at a premium. We arrived here last week, so I guess we are now officially midwesterners. We were definitely in for a shock. Our first few days here were bitterly cold. After almost 10 years in Colorado, we had forgotten what real cold was!

Bryce is doing great. On November 6th, we celebrated his being home for 6 months. Time flies. He is 18 months old now and will be 19 months in just one week. Did we ever say he was a mellow child??? Well, that has changed! Bryce is a typical toddler. He is constantly in motion all day long and loves to play with cars, trucks, and anything with wheels. He is also fascinated by Toni (much to her dismay, Bryce keeps interrupting her naps). Bryce's comprehension has really picked up in the last few months - he seems to understand everything. He loves to read books and will point out his favorite pictures, too. He knows some sign language, and just signs constantly. I'm sure once he starts talking he will never stop.

We are quite busy here with unpacking, looking for a new house, and me (Barb) starting work soon, but we will try to post another update soon.
